My neighbors dog are always on my property I have warned him a number of times, guess its time I do something.. you know the wargos had every right to shoot those dogs in the act, on his property..

Anyone who even thinks about shooting or harming a dog, regardless of the situation, should be locked up for life. That includes police

Read your dog law you have every right to shoot a dog on your property if killing, chasing animals or a family member..and chasing deer

I know the accused dogs very well and cannot see them brutally killing chickens. Run, yes they like to wonder around but with the large population of coyote in our area it's my option that neighbors are looking to make an example and run off the new neighbors. Maybe the accusers should move to town?

Hey Zach, when's the chicken BBQ? Lol

Actually there were people home when the dogs attacked and killed the chickens hence the ability to report to police exactly what happened. Maybe you don't know what the dogs are capable of after all.

I am sorry that the dogs disappointed you, however we had no idea who the dogs belonged to and we have never met the people they belonged to. Our initial thought was that they must have belonged to people at some camps in the area. I came outside to two dogs surrounded by my dead hens, shook around and backs broken. They weren’t eaten. I knew it wasn’t done maliciously, this is something that happens when dogs are around livestock that they aren’t trained to be around and I told the dog owner as much when he came by. It was an accident that they left their dogs out for an extended time. They went into their henhouse and dragged out the hens through their little hen door.

The police were called because I had no idea what else I was supposed to do in the situation with my hens lying around my property dead and two loose dogs that I didn’t know running around my property. I have small children. I could not shoot a dog, even though it is in my rights as a livestock owner to do so if they are attacking my livestock on my property. We lost a hen that was like a pet, she was very sweet and tame, she followed us whenever we were outside and ate from our hands. We are very sad.

I really dislike this site as it puts out this info for people to make rude, fantastical, and ill informed commentary anonymously that they would not say to someone’s face.
