Jeffrey E. Pessia

Jeffrey E. Pessia, 57, a loving and devoted, husband and father, of 185 Derrick Road, Bradford,
PA, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at UPMC-Hamot in Erie, surrounded by his family.


Born October 10, 1960 in Bradford, he was a son of the late Barbara (Barnes) Sheridan and James Pessia. He was a 1978 graduate of Bradford High School.

On April 24, 1982 in Bradford, he married Susan M. (Foley) Pessia who survives.

Jeff was employed as the parts manager at Bradford Dodge until his death, and he formerly worked for Dexter's Service Station and Cantwell-Johnson. Jeff was his wife's best friend and a hero to his daughter.

Surviving in addition to his wife Sue, is one daughter, Angela M. (Dan) Sullivan, of Rixford, two brothers, Robert (Joan) Pessia, of TX, and Michael (Cindy) Pessia, of Bradford, two half-brothers, Gary Pessia and Steve Pessia and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Anthony "Tony" Pessia who died in August of 2012.

Friends will be received on Saturday February 3, 2018, from 11:00am to Noon in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, 33 South Ave., at Noon a Celebration of Jeff's life will be held with Rev. Brad Preston, officiating.
