Pretty much $$$

This is the same place that they were dispatched for a possible methane leak just two days ago. Now the Hartman's are crying natural gas. I feel sorry for our volunteers.

If they don't find anything, they should have to pay for the service call.

Well which is it methane or natural gas there's a HUGE difference and isn't it suspicious that AFTER folks pointed out it's a NATURAL gas pipeline suddenly they have a leak

I live next to jklm drilling. methane is coming through my water making it fizzy. methane detector registers 40-80 parts. period. please people stop being mean. you wouldnt appreciate fizzy methane water. and by the way, we didnt call teh authorities , all i did was ask jklm for water as we are getting methane readings. all they tested was our air for methane on wednesday. much more to this story is not being told just lots of people being mean. there is methane in our water. we used 3 different meters to test today all register methane. there is a video of our fizzy water but I was unable to send it to solomons words due to unable to send file. the truth will come out soon and there is methane in the water period! now be nice

well, I'll start again for all the people who are jumping to conclusions and gossip. the dispatch wrote natural gas leak. it is methane in the water, not natural gas. we never called the authorities today at all. I contacted jklm as 3 meters tested possitive for methane reading 40-80 parts. all i did was ask jklm to deliver water here , they called the authorities not us! we have fizzy methane water and live close to the wellpad. the whole story is not being told here. there is methane in the water period.

10:48 Natural gas is comprised of 93 percent or more of methane. The difference is meaninglessness. Gas doesn't belong in drinking water.

10:45 if they don't find anything then JKLM and the DEP need to stay a reasonable amount to investigate. Through no fault of the Hartman's the gas coming from their faucet is intermittent.

Id like to point out that who ever made the post about there water having "Methane" Or "Natural Gas" made it "Anonymous". Why would you make it "Anonymous" if you have nothing to hide. LIES LIES LIES this person is coco for coco puffs just looking for something to pay off there house ! SCAM if the fire department would have found "Natural Gas" or "Methane" they would have let the public know about it, and they didn't let the public know about it because they didn't find anything. GET a life people.

they (JKLM) Penn ER as well are being very kind tonight. we showed them the video and our meter registering 80 parts methane. we are trying to work directly with jklm. Thank you to the folks who had kind words to say. very much appreciated after Thursdays comments were incredibly disturbing.

I have a couple questions. Is this when you turn on your hot or cold water? Are you running out of hot water quicker then normal? Could quite possibly be the bottom heating element in your hot water tank is shot. When they go your water will get bubbles or fizzy. It’s kind of like what happens in a electrolysis tank. Which if it is going bad not only will you get bubbles. As the molecules of hydrogen and oxygen excite they give off a highly flammmable gas. Could be giving you a false positive and would explain why it’s in the water and not the air.

A couple quick questions. Do you have hot water? Is it lasting like it normally does? It quite possibly could be your hot water tank is going bad or atleast your bottom heating element is. What could be happening is you water is getting a electrical charge . Which excites the hydrogen and oxygen molecules (making it fizz or bubble). It also will give off a flammable gas ( hence the meter readings) . Look up a do it yourself electrolysis tank. Very possible that’s what’s happening and has nothing to do with the well drilling.

7:37 and 8:37. methane is tested usually warming the water up. it is noticeable running the warm water BUT we tested for methane using COLD water and registered 40-80 parts, nothing to do with the water heater at all. I really appreciate your time to put in helpful comments and suggestions but we are getting readings of methane in the water.

12:37 I feel for you walking through this life with such a bad attitude. I'll keep you in my prayers.
as far as why I post anonymous? I don't use social media, I don't use facebook, instagram, tweet whatever and I never take selfies because I do have a life! it's been tough being ill for the past 2.5 years but I'm not full of hate over it. I don't have a solomons words account and I don't post my opinion on every topic of gossip that comes across my screen everyday.I only come on this website to get weather warnings and to see what jklm has been up to when I have water problems. you say the fire department would have let everyone know if there was methane? excuse me but you are incredibly wrong. JKLM the first time never told anyone when they contaminated the aquifer and did everything in their power to get off the hook. If you really knew what was going on you would realize that everyone in authority in potter county is on jklm side because of the big money it is bringing in. you posted anonymous yourself just to cause hatred and used words such as scam and lies when you honestly have no grounds to accuse as you are ignorant of the facts. also if you would pay attention the report shows my physical address as well as in the comments our last name. so, why do you post anonymous? how many comments were anonymous above here? ALL OF THEM?
I see it was 12:37 am when you posted so I will assume you were not in your right mind when you typed all that undeserved garbage. I wish you peace and joy in your life going forward.

Methane is natural gas, just unodorized. But you seem to know it all..

Natural Gas is mainly 70 to 90 percent Methane plus four other gases including ethane, propane & butane. Natural gas was/is formed by 100's of thousands of years of decaying biodegradable material beep below the earths surface. Gas that we use at our homes has been been stripped or processed of "most" impurities then odorized so that it safe and clean burning and yields 1000 Btu per cubic foot. Our appliances that burn natural gas are designed to that Btu factor for safety and reliability to strict standards by the International Fuels Gas Code.

I didnt claim to know anything I ASKED a question about which is was because they had this same problem recently because of living near a pipeline I find it suspicious that suddenly they are having leaks when they didnt before seems cause for concern to me
