Penn State Extension offers upcoming TOTALLY VEGGIES course.

Vegetables are vitally important to our well-being. They supply us with the vitamins, minerals, fiber, and phytochemicals needed to keep our bodies healthy. Did you know the USDA recommends that adults eat between 17 to 21 cups of vegetables a week?

In the Totally Veggies course, you will learn how to easily incorporate vegetables into your diet. Each of the four week lessons focus on a specific vegetable group and their health benefits: dark green leafy vegetables, deep orange vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, and root vegetables. Totally Veggies provides you with cooking techniques, helpful tips, and many easy recipes that anyone can use.

What will you learn?
• The incredible health benefits of vegetables
• Recommended servings of different vegetable groups
• Selection and storage tips
• Cooking techniques and preparation tips
• Strategies for eating with the family and making vegetables fun
• Many easy and tasty recipes

Totally Veggies will take place Thursday evenings – March 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th – at the Penn State Extension office at 7 Water Street, Coudersport. Cost is $30 for all four classes. To register, call 877-345-0691 or sign up online at https://extension.psu.edu/totally-veggies-complete.
