Join the ANF Visitors Bureau for a Hands-on Online Marketing Workshop

The Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau has contracted with Odyssey, a Google certified partner, to provide an exclusive hands-on online marketing workshop on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Attendees are to bring their laptop, tablet, or smartphone to the workshop. Participants will learn the social media techniques to boost their online presence, grow their reviews, and drive more walk-in business.

Ensuring local content is accurate and compelling is critical to success. Odyssey will train local business owners and staff how to populate and maintain compelling content on key online resources, including Google My Business, TripAdvisor, and Yelp.

Participants will learn about using Google My Business to improve their business ranking and visibility in search engines and discover the power of Google Local Guides. Odyssey will teach participants how to improve positions and rankings on Yelp and TripAdvisor. The workshop will also provide the opportunity to network with other local businesses.

According to HubSpot, “71% of people look up a business before visiting for the first time.” With an increasing majority of travelers finding information on their mobile device, content quality and presentation is imperative. The goal of this program is to encourage local businesses to take advantage of the free online resources and how to properly use them.

The cost for the online marketing workshop for members is $10, which includes a catered luncheon. For non-members, the fee for the workshop and luncheon is $45.

Reserve your spot by emailing info@visitANF.com or call 800-473-9370 by July 9, 2018.
