PA Rt. 6 Artisan Traveling Exhibit Arrives in Bradford

The 2018 PA Route 6 Artisan Trail Traveling Exhibit showcases talented artists from across the historic PA Route 6 highway at the ANF Visitors Bureau Welcome Center in Bradford.
The 2018 PA Route 6 Artisan Trail Traveling Exhibit is being showcased at the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) Visitors Bureau Welcome Center, located at 80 East Corydon St, Bradford, PA, until July 14, 2018. The public is invited to view the display during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or during the upcoming McKean County Art Council open house.

The 3-panel traveling exhibit displays prints and photographs from artists along the historic PA Route 6 highway. The region is represented by a variety of images including landscapes and townscapes, prints of abstract paintings and photographs highlighting the different communities across northern Pennsylvania.

In conjunction with the PA Route 6 Artisan Traveling Exhibit, the McKean County Art Council will be hosting the Bradford Chamber’s Business After Hours, on Thursday July 12, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at 80 East Corydon Street. This event is free and open to the business and professional community. Guests will enjoy networking, complimentary food and beverages, and a business card drawing. “This is an exciting opportunity to display talented artisans from across Rt. 6 in the same building that hosts the local artisans from the McKean County Art Council” expressed Executive Director of the ANF Visitors Bureau, Linda Devlin.

After visiting the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau, the 2018 PA Route 6 Artisan Trail will visit Potter County Artisan Center, in Coudersport, the PA Lumber Museum, in Ulysses, the Rt 15 Welcome Center, in Tioga, the Deitrich Theater and Framesmith, in Tunkhannock, and the Art Factory of White Mills, ending in Milford.

As the PA Route 6 Artisan Trail Traveling Exhibit moves east across PA Route 6 updates to the schedule will be on the website. www.paroute6.com/artisan_trail.
