Douglas H. Pease of Penfield, NY formerly of Shinglehouse, PA passed away on September 10, 2018 leaving behind his loving husband, Kevin C. Henchen along with several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Mr. Pease was predeceased by his father, Donald H. Pease; mother, Edna R. Pease; sister, Linda R. Johnson; grandparents, Frank C. and Ceclia M. (Enders) Ferris, K. Randall and Marty D. (Holter) Pease and Ann D. Costanzi.

Survived by four brothers, Donald Pease of Cookeville, TN, Dennis R. Johnson of Rochester (Chili), NY, David M. (Terri) Pease of Tracy, CA and Daniel (Wanda) Pease of Allentown, NY; four sisters, Kimberly Henchen of Pittsford, NY, Sally (John) Strait of Greencastle, PA, Sandy (Steve) Lucas of Youngsville, PA, and Susan (Jim) Cicirello of Wellsville, NY.

Mr. Pease worked in the health care field with several not for profit organizations and Unity Health Systems, working with people with disabilities, veterans, and the elderly. He was also a member of St. Mark's and St. John's Episcopal Church where he volunteered for the Food Shelf Outreach program. Mr. Pease loved animals and leaves behind his faithful dog, Tucker. Mr. Pease was happiest when he was with family and friends, cooking, traveling, and camping in the outdoors.

Doug attended Finger Lakes Community College for Registered Nursing and Rochester Business Institute, where he also taught as an adjunct after graduation.

Doug's Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2018 at St. Mark's & St. John's Episcopal Church, 1245 Culver Road.
