I'm more worried if the driver is ok not if there was fresh water or flow back in the tank

The driver is ok he's been released from the hospital.

probably because you don`t live near hear and don`t drink the water.I would not worry if it was in front of your house either..

Driver is ok

The transport was hauling brine water, and luckily the tank did not rupture. I have not heard the status of the driver yet. I do know on the little stretch of road it was extremely icey, the road conditions changed instantly after climbing the hill.

This is the second big rig truck to over turn in about a month. Both accidents happened working for the gas companies. They need to slow down, and take more care driving the roads of Potter County. They are not only putting their own life in jeopardy but also our residents..Glad no one was hurt..and first responders stayed safe on a crappy night...the home owner was lucky too..

Fortunately the truck didn't take out a vehicle in the opposing lane.

The roads were icy. Should have been salted. No leaks from the tanker. Please do not misinform your readers. This is Potter County not Washington DC. Don't need fake news!!!

Pretty sure y'all jump the gun and assume driver was speeding and ur totally incorrect and very rude and it's called an accident for a freaking reason now come on people but y'all don't know what it's like to b a driver bet ur perfect ain't ya

Everone gets there panties in a bunch whene they think there's a drop of brine spilled. What about your townships that put it on dirt roads for dust control and the states spray it on roads to melt ice. O and yes they do because I have hauled it to some places here and Ohio uses a lot to.

This driver wrecked because another vehicle stopped directly in front of him and to avoid hitting the vehicle and killing an innocent person her swerved and risked his own life to avoid hitting the other car.

If there was "brine water" then it's radioactive (remember the JKLM waste scenario)...so, anyone know how much was released if any? And, was there a trained team or were the dispatchers informed they be handling radioactive wastewater?

The tank did not rupture according to the above info. Your local fire department members have hazmat training. If there was an issue your firefighters would have taken appropriate action!!!!!

If it was radioactive it would have to have placards on trailor, be a completely diff kind of trailor, anyone around or handling it would have to wear protective clothing. The only special clothing requirements are FR's(fire resistant). Someone's been watching to much of the sci do channel.

Brine is not radioactive waste. It had radioactive elements in it. Everything has radiation in it. Cell phones computers TVs, electric in you walls. Basements have radon gas, the sun creates ultraviolet radiation, many other things have radiation. The water has no lasting radioactive elements, if it did natural gas the product that is coming from the same formation would be radioactive. Nobody is shutting there gas off because they are worried. Plastic water bottles are created from polyethylene which is created from natural gas.

This person said it's radioactive....Smh...... Glad the driver is safe and nothing leaked out. Move along people move along. Great job to all the first responders as well.
