Tonight I received news that my dad James Hosley has passed away. He was hit by a car while walking possibly to sheetz in Coudersport. We are still learning details about what happened, and arrangements are being made... I know many of you knew him so I will keep you posted on the details. My family and I will be coming to Coudersport for the funeral, I look forward to seeing some of you on our trip despite the sad reason for our visit. More to follow 😢

Sorry for the loss of human life. People do need to slow down and be more alert while driving.

Every day we add more vehicles and drivers to our local roads. However, apparently Coudersport wants more tragedy by allowing the sale of land for a BIGGER, BETTER, BEER AND WINE SELLING, INTOXICATING INDUCING Sheetz.

Pedestrians have the right of way at crosswalks in the intersections...vehicles are supposed to stop.

Why dont we think of the young man's who's life changed to work this event. Who is to say he was in the crosswalk? Who to say he didn't just step out and this young man didn't have time to react. Why blame Sheetz the only thing they had to do with it is the gentleman was walking there for his nightly routine is coffee and cigarettes. Accidents happen that's why they are called accidents the finger doesn't always have to bed pointed at this person or that business. It is sad to lose a life to an accident but dont point fingers till you have all the facts.
