Lorraine C. Gross, 87, of 136 High Street Bradford, PA, passed away, Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at her residence.

Born January 28, 1931, in Bradford, she a daughter of the late Theron and Minnie Isabelle (Sweet) Ellis.

Lorraine was a gypsy, and never planted her feet in one spot for very long. She loved working at flea markets, and collecting and selling jewelry and anything else that she could make a buck on. She dearly loved her dogs.

Surviving are two sons Ace Deuce (Jeanie) Simmons Sr., of Bradford; James Joseph (Hope) Gross, of Bradford, one sister, Virginia Lisabeth Back, of IL, one brother, James Frederick Ellis, of AZ, 31 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Gross; one daughter, Aldeana Mae Ferry; three sons Theron (TJ) & Guy Simmons and Kelvin Gross; three brothers, and one sister.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Saturday October 6, 2018, the Hooker Fulton Bldg, 3rd Floor, rear entrance. Burial will be in Utah Veterans Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc.

Memorials may be made to Ace Simmons Sr. at 136 High Street, Bradford, to help defray funeral expenses.
