Scott Bruce, Marvin Bell and Sergio Marzitell
Hamilton-Gibson is presenting three Wise Crackers Comedy Club stand-up comedians this Saturday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Gallery at the Warehouse Theatre at 3 Central Avenue in Wellsboro. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Headlining the show is Scott Bruce who has performed alongside Robin Williams, Tim Allen, Ray Romano, Chris Rock, Drew Carey and Bernie Mac.

Raised in State College, Bruce began his career in comedy in 1981. "People may have caught my act on a cruise ship, at a nightclub in Las Vegas or at a Moose Lodge in rural Pennsylvania," he said. Bruce has performed in 46 of America's 50 states and in 30 countries, most recently Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands.

He is known for his quick wit, ad-libbing ability and natural timing, which guarantee his audiences a good time and lots of laughs. More than 100,000 people attend his live shows each year.

A unique performer, not only is Bruce a stand-up comedian but also an author who mostly writes about Pennsylvania history and hosted the EMMY-award winning PBS television show "The Pennsylvania Game," an historical game show about his home state. In between traveling the country, telling jokes and writing books, he started a successful business, a small chain of comedy clubs called Wise Crackers.

Bruce still finds time to paint, play with computers, create game shows, produce comedy shows for television, raise a family and "constantly work on my incredibly mediocre golf game." Don't miss this opportunity to see him in person.

On stage with Bruce will be Marvin Bell and Sergio Marzitelli.

Bell made his debut as a stand-up comedian in 1982. In 1984, he was named Showtime's Funniest Person in Missouri as part of the cable network’s Funniest Person in America contest. That led to his 34-year full-time career in comedy. He is billed as one of the funniest people in America because of his "knack" for cracking people up.

Marzitelli, the MC for the evening of comedy at Wellsboro, is known for his relatable true stories drawn from his own life experiences. Marzitelli has won the 2015 NEPA Scene Competition, was a finalist for Florida's Funniest Comedian and also earned the Weekender Readers Choice Award for Best Comedian in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Bruce describes the show as PG-13. "It's family type humor," he said.

Tables will be set up cabaret style in the Gallery. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
