Penn State Extension: 2019 Rabies Clinic Schedule

The 2019 Rabies Clinic schedule 
has been finalized for the following Potter County communities this summer:

  • Coudersport- Saturday, April 6th, 1-4pm @ Coudersport Fire Hall
  • Roulette- Saturday, May 4th, 1-4pm @ Roulette Fire Department
  • Galeton- Saturday, July 27th, 1-4pm @ Park Gazebo
  • Shinglehouse – Saturday, August 3rd, 1-4pm @ Park Gazebo
  • Ulysses- Saturday, August 24th, 1-4pm @ Tri Town Fire Hall

All dogs, cats, and ferrets that are at least 12 weeks old can be vaccinated against rabies virus. The first time a dog or cat receives a vaccine, it is good for one year. Each time after that, the vaccination is good for three years. Ferrets must be vaccinated annually.

All animals attending the clinics must be on a leash or in a container. Cost is $5.00 per animal. The clinic is sponsored by Dr. Lindsay Schwartzmeyer of the Potter County Veterinary Clinic.
