Charles “Chuck” A. Perry, age 68 of Westfield, PA

Charles “Chuck” A. Perry

Charles “Chuck” A. Perry, age 68 of Westfield, PA, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 12, 2020.

He was married to Beverly (Klos) Perry, and they shared over 41 years of marriage together.

He was born on May 2, 1951 in Wellsboro, PA, the son of the late Carl and Jeanne (Grinnell) Perry.

Chuck was a 1969 Wellsboro High School graduate and worked most of his life in Tioga County.

He worked at Gra-Hill Construction Company, Dresser Manufacturing, Dresser Rand Company, Osram Sylvania Inc. and then Mountain Home Services, where he retired in 2015.

Chuck will be remembered as a loving husband, father and “Papa”. He was an active person who liked to be busy, and was a “Mr. Fix It” handy man. Chuck was an avid fisherman and hunter and always looked forward to the Tioga County Bass Anglers’ fishing tournament each year. He also was a huge Cubs, Steelers and Penn State fan. He maintained his sense of humor, often “picking” on his children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Beverly Perry of Westfield; daughter, Amanda Perry Jones of Las Vegas, NV; son, Matthew (Elizabeth) Perry of Edina, MN; four grandchildren, Annalysse, Atticus, Eleanor or Oliver; brothers, Ronald (Donna) Perry of Keeneyville, Thomas (Christine) Perry of Keeneyville and Kevin (Brenda) Perry of Middlebury Center; sisters, bonnie Goodreau of Williamsport and Lisa Holliday of Wellsboro and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends and neighbors.

Family will receive friends at the Westfield United Methodist Church on Friday, 12:00 – 1:00 PM. A celebration of Charles’ life will be held immediately following at 1:00 PM with Pastor Edward Rodarmel officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Chuck’s name to the Tioga County Bass Anglers, c/o Cecil Bill, 532 Sheer Rd., Wellsboro, PA 16901 or American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. Arrangements are in care of Kenyon Funeral Home, Westfield. www.kenyonfunerlhome.com.
