Arrest made in Town of Amity, NY Rape case

On February 07, 2020 the Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of SP Amity arrested Jordan H. Mullings, 29 of Belmont, NY for Rape 1st degree (B Felony), Burglary 2nd degree (C Felony), Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Menacing 3rd degree.
On February 07, 2020 at 8:42 AM, Troopers out of SP Amity responded to a third party report of a possible domestic on State Route 244 in the town of Amity. Further investigation revealed that Mullings forced unwanted sexual advances and attempted to prevent the victim from leaving or getting help. The victim stated the incident stopped when they heard Troopers arrive at the residence. Troopers arrested Mullings and the victim was treated at a nearby hospital.

Mullings was arraigned at the town of Friendship Court and remanded to Allegany County Jail on $50,000 cash or $100,000 bail. Mullings is scheduled to return to the town of Amity Court later in February 2020.
