Cameron County Project

The Cameron County Project would like to thank the local businesses that hosted our Dinner and Drafting Sessions providing our leadership team, volunteers, and fellow residents space to share a meal, talk about the wonderful stories shared with us, and draft our Cameron County Value Statements. We extend a sincere, “Thank you!” to Aroma CafĂ©, Driftwood Saloon and Grill, Cabin Kitchen, and Pizza Palace.

We’re excited to share our Cameron County Value Statements and ask residents, camp owners, and people who work and play in Cameron County – “Did We Get This Right?” by having a variety of ways, both in person and online, for our friends and neighbors to review and comment on the statements through March and April. This process will allow the project to conclude Phase 2 of the Community Heart and Soul process and begin transitioning to Phase 3: A #CamCoProud Vision of our Future, this May. For more information about the Cameron County Project: www.thecameroncountyproject.com, like us on facebook: @CamCoProject or call Jess Herzing, Project Coordinator: 814-486-0612 x 100.

Nice try again, for the umpteenth time. Proud? Just give the money this fizzle cost the State, put it into the County Treasury and we'll see you again when you have $$$$$$ to spend on talk, talk, talk again. Phase 33 coming up??

At least the people are trying to better the community ! Try living in Austin where the so called leaders for the past 20 or so years openly say the don't want or need new business or new people !

This project has nothing to do with the leaders in the community. It's basically people doing alot of talking and no doing.
