Delays Likely on Route 322 Near Potters Mills

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists that travel delays are likely throughout the day on Route 322 in the Potters Mills area.

Delays should be expected in both directions between Boalsburg in Centre County and Milroy in Mifflin County, as recovery work takes place in relation to a tractor trailer crash that occurred this morning.

Crews will also be working to set beams on the Potters Mills project—as previously announced.
Once crash recovery is complete, there will be traffic stops of up to ten minutes each direction as beam placement occurs. The beam setting work could extend past the previously announced 3:00 P.M. stop time.

Motorists are encouraged to “Know Before They Go” by checking conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
