Gerald “Butch” Perrin, of Warren, PA., died peacefully of natural causes at his home, Tuesday, February 11, 2020. 

He was born April 22, 1942 in Youngsville, PA. Butch was the son of Gerald Albine and Leora B. Sullivan Perrin. 

US Army Veteran
In previous years, Butch and his wife, Fran, enjoyed wintering in Apache Junction, Az. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. He served with the U.S. Army as a corporal with the 17th Signal Battalion in Karlsruch, Germany from August 1964 to March 1966. 

Butch was employed with the former MCR, later known as TRW, as a Master Tool and Die Maker and Machinist, retiring from there in 1992 after 30+ years of employment. 

He was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church where he was an usher. Butch was a member of the Warren Eagles Aerie. 

He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed watching wildlife. He and Fran especially enjoyed traveling with their niece, Abby, and together they explored parts of Europe as well as numerous National Parks throughout the Pacific Northwest and the Southwest. 

He is remembered lovingly by his family as a man with a great sense of humor, who had a way of welcoming all who visited him with a quick wit and a clever comment. His true quality was the value he placed in people who had integrity and honesty. He could fix or build anything he put his mind too.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frances Aldrich Perrin who has known Butch since she was in the first grade. They were married May 3, 1969 at St. Luke’s R.C. Church, Youngsville, PA., 2 Brothers – Dennis Perrin and wife, Stephene of Warren, PA., Bruce Perrin and wife, Theresa of Jamestown, N.Y., Bonnie Perrin Mead and husband, Mike of Grand Valley, PA., Half Brothers – Gary, Thomas and Vern Perrin, Brother-in-law, John Aldrich and wife, Janice, Sister-in-law, Sharon Aldrich and her companion, Corny Gallagher all of Warren, PA., Sister-in-law, Kathleen Cutshall of Conneaut, OH., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Gordon Aldrich, Mother-in-law, Sophie Muczynski Aldrich whom he loved and for many years hunted with.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 4 to 7 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, West, Warren, PA., with Fr. Richard Tomasone, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery where full military honors will be bestowed by US Army Honor Guard and the Youngsville American Legion Honor Guard.
