The Regular Meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Liberty Township was called to order at 6:00 P.M. by Chairman Dick Brown. Supervisor Neil Shepard and Secretary Cindy Speeth, were present.

REGULAR MEETING

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was recited by all.

REPORTS:
1. There were 16 ambulance calls for Liberty Township in January, 2020.
2. There were 8 fire calls for Liberty Township in January, 2020.
3. Secretary’s Report for January 6, 2020 was presented and unanimously
accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown.
4. Treasurer’s Report for the month of February, 2020 was presented and
unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by
Chairman Brown. Chairman Brown stated that there were bills paid in the amount of $61,649.69 and Revenues received in the amount of $18,306.48 for a balance of $163,516.32 in the General Fund. There were bills paid in the amount of $3353.30 for a balance of $59,901.19 in the State Fund and a balance of $6,701.89 in the Sewer Account.

CORRESPONDENCE:
1. PSATS News Bulletin was presented by Chairman Brown.
2. Letter from the Planning Commission regarding the Seefeldt property was presented by Chairman Brown and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown.
3. Letter from PennDot regarding Possible Redesignations of Class A Wild Trout Streams was presented by Chairman Brown.
4. Letter from PGE regarding Well Permit Applications – for info only – was presented by Chairman Brown.
5. Letter from Jeremy Morey regarding Rt. 6 Byway Resolution was presented by Chairman Brown and tabled for more information.
6. Letter from Census Bureau regarding BVP boundaries for Liberty Township was presented by Chairman Brown. The secretary was asked to write a letter explaining that Liberty Township has already had a new survey of our boundaries done last year.

All correspondence was made available to the public.

NEW BUSINESS:

The Supervisors are in the process of reviewing other insurance quotes on all of our commercial insurance policies ( auto, buildings, etc.) to make sure we are getting the best deal possible.

OLD BUSINESS:

None

PUBLIC CONCERNS:

None

As no further business was brought before the Board, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 6:10p.m. on a motion by Supervisor Shepard and a second by Chairman Brown.
