SR 220 South Bound Lane Closures Expected Early Next Week

Motorists who travel Route 220 southbound are advised that single lane closures can be expected in the area of the West 4th St. Interchange, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, for tree removal.

A sub-contractor will be on site removing trees to clear for overhead utility relocation beginning Tuesday, March 3 and Wednesday, March 4 between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Motorists can expect the right lane (driving lane) to be restricted while the work is being completed.

This work is part of the 220 Safety Corridor Project. The Project is expected to be completed in Fall of 2022.

Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. is the prime contractor on this $41 million project.
