May 22, 2020 EXECUTIVE ORDER
REVISION TO THE STAY AT HOME ORDER

WHEREAS, The President of the Seneca Nation declared a State of Emergency for the Nation's Territories on March 19, 2020, in response to the Coronavirus Pandemic, and

WHEREAS, The President of the Seneca Nation has received recommendations from health officials to take further precautions to protect Nation and community members, including imposing certain restrictions specifically aimed at reducing additional transmission of the Coronavirus,

BE IT HEREBY ORDERED THAT THE SENECA NATION ADOPT THE FOLLOWING RULES EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY; AND THIS NEW ORDER REPLACES THE PREVIOUS ORDER OF APRIL 11, 2020:

1. Non-essential gatherings such as parties, celebrations, and any types of other social events are still restricted at this time. If it is necessary to gather in a shared or outdoor space, individuals must remain six ( 6) feet away from any individual who is not a member of his or her household

2. Parks and playgrounds shall remain closed to the public until further notice.

3. Any resident returning to Nation Territories from beyond a 150 mile radius must self-quarantine at home for a period of fourteen (14) days. During the self-quarantine, that individual shall refrain from visiting others, particularly vulnerable members of our community, such as the
elderly and those with underlying medical conditions. The individual shall monitor his or her temperature three (3) times per day, and monitor for the following symptoms: any sustained temperature of 100.4 degrees or more, coughing, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and a new loss of taste or smell. If the individual has these symptoms, that individual or his or her caretaker should call the individual's medical provider for
additional advisement.

This Order Shall Remain In Place Until Lifted by Order of the President of the Seneca Nation

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians.

So it’s ok to post racist stuff on this site? Cool, good to know.

3:19 - Just how is that racist?
Real racism is something like, "We are God's chosen people. All goy are put on earth to kiss our feet and serve us." That, my friend, is racist. Ever watch George Orwell's "Animal Farm"?

Wow! Thanks for clearing that up 3:47! Actually, though, my comment was intended for the admin for the site who approves what gets posted. Since they posted my comment, that means they read it and approved...and since they also read and approved the original comment, that would indicate they are either simply complicit, or racist themselves...because they approved that too. To clarify, it’s racist to make a flippant comment referencing “chiefs and Indians” in response to a serious situation regarding the native community. But then I’m sure a learned white person, such as yourself is perfectly fine with it.

I am far from being white.
Chiefs and Indians is not a flippant remark. Who is your chief? You seem to be sane...the admin is chief, and you can only post what they allow.
That would be anti-American, and would violate Article 1 of our Bill of Rights. Read that Article, look up the word, "abridged", and tell me what it means, please, and thank you.

Racism. The new norm in the world of trump.

Nope. To be clear, poster ‘far from white, White Russian, we’re not having a discussion or a debate. Here’s the thing about racists; they don’t have to be smart, they have to be just smart enough...you’re one or the other of those things(not smart or just smart enough), and I have zero interest in finding out which.

Sorry about that, in the above post, "sane" should have been, "saying". I am almost blind. My typist confuses my words sometimes.

6:44 what an ignorant statement. I've seen years of media coverage on him and not one thing he said is even close to racist. So "I" must be racist too you'd say. You and people like you are simply delusional. I think deep down you know the guy is righteous and it eats you up because you are opposites. So where does that put you? Try hard and reflect on yourself and you may find the real problem. BTW an Alynsky tactic is accusing another of what you are guilty of to deflect blame.Knowledge is power...

How does Trump permeate this blog constantly?? This whole thread started because somebody posted a racist comment regarding the Seneca Nation. Trump had nothing to do with it. If the poster at 11:15 is referring to Saul Alinsky, that’s quite a stretch. The first comment was racist, plain and simple, it’s printed right there at the top...so if anyone is accusing anyone of something that they themselves are guilty of, I’d say it’s the last poster. And congratulations, we’ve now completely glossed over the racist comment THAT IS STILL PROUDLY DISPLAYED AT THE TOP OF THIS THREAD. Keep it white, Potter County...white trash!

Haha. Gotta love the trump loving sheep. They're so sensitive. For those who don't think trump is a racist, what's that say about you.

Look, at this point, after 3 1/2 years of this administration, if you still support Donald Trump, then you are either super rich, racist or just plain stupid...and I’m going to bet none of the people who follow this blog are super rich.

The expression: "too many chiefs and not enough Indians"... I'm still not seeing how that's a racist comment. I use it all the time in reference to a situation where "everyone wants to put forth his or get ideas, edicts, etc" much as in the case of the coronavirus rules. You've got the Fed's making rules, the state making rules, the counties clamoring for control and now the Seneca Nation president issuing proclamations. I happen to know hundreds of Indians (and no, they don't care if they are referred to as Indians either) and they would use the exact same expression. They'd probably laugh if they heard someone said that it was racist. Incredible.

Sleepy Joe said if you support Trump you’re not black !! So there ya have it folks !!

Hey! White person chiming in at 1:30, you don’t need to ‘explain’ what that comment means. Now, if you need someone to explain why that’s a racist comment, maybe you could ask some of your “Indian” friends. It’s derogatory, antiquated and disrespectful. But you’re white(and I know that based solely on the demographic of this blog), so it’s normal for YOU to be ok with it...I bet you’re cool with lots of other comments. The very fact that you find the potential for the comment to be racist to be beyond your comprehension, is classic! Like was posted earlier...keep it white, Potter County!

Please don't call me white, I find it antiquated and derogatory. Lol. Yeah, I'll go by vanilla thank you.

I find it refreshing that a leader of people is actually taking a leadership role and communicating with facts and details. Well done.
