The Potter County Farmer's Market will open Friday, July 17th, from 1 pm to 5 pm.


The Potter County Farmer's Market will open Friday, July 17th, from 1 pm to 5 pm. Here is a list of who will be there and what they plan on bringing.

Joel and June Caldwell will be selling local raw honey and creamed honey at this Friday’s Farmers Market, produced by their bees on the Kenyon Farm in Hebron.

Barbara's Creations will be there with beeswax wraps, bags, scarves, baby shoes, puppets and zipper jewelry.

Joanie’s Apiary will have raw pure honey as well as beeswax products, including hand cream, wood polish, sunscreen and candles. They also are starting to get their Spring honey, so there will also be a few boxes of comb honey available to purchase. They will be sharing a tent with Joel and June Caldwell.

Blue Marble Farm will be there with swiss chard, romaine lettuce, snap peas, snow peas, black raspberries, and more.

Card Creek Bakery will be at the Farmer's Market this week with artisan breads for the table or grill, traditional breads for breakfast or sandwiches,a couple of new items, and a couple sweet treats.

Mahlon Davenport is going to be there with woodcrafts, one-of-a-kind items crafted from wood harvested from Pennsylvania.

Card Creek Wines will be there with a selection of artisan wines.

Please provide public information on the process regarding how local growers may join the farmers market, if they were unable to attention the early spring meeting, due to the unforeseen conditions that existed at that time. Thank you.
