PennDOT Cameron/Potter County Maintenance work schedule for the week of August 3 – August 7, 2020

Emporium/Coudersport, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Cameron/Potter County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of August 3 – August 7, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

This work will be done in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and State Department of Health guidance as well as COVID-19 safety guidance, including protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols.


Cameron County 0240
Side Dozing:
● State Route: 0120 (Cameron to Driftwood)

Ditching:
● State Route: 4004 (Rich Valley Road) Monday & Tuesday
● State Route: 0120 (Emporium to Howard) Wednesday - Friday


Potter County 0260

Sign Upgrades:
● Various locations on U. S. Route 0006 and State Route 0044

Bridge Repairs:
● State Route: 1009 (Pusher Siding Road)

Ditching:
● State Route: 1010 (Genesee to North Bingham)

Guiderail Repairs:
● State Route: 0872 (near Austin Dam)

Crack Sealing:
● State Route: 0607 (Austin to Keating Summit) Monday - Wednesday
● State Route: 0872 (Austin to Coudersport) Thursday & Friday
Spray Patching:
● State Route: 1010 (North Bingham to Mills)

Side Dozing:
● State Route: 0872 (Coudersport to Cameron County line)

Mowing:
● State Route: 0006 (Tioga County line to Loucks Mills Road) Monday
● State Route: 1003 (Loucks Mills Road) Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
● State Route: 1008 (Empson Road) Thursday


The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:

● Glenn O Hawbaker, Inc: bridge replacement on State Route 44 in Hebron Township, four miles north of Coudersport, will begin on July 1. There will be a one lane temporary roadway and traffic signals in place. Target end date is early September. Covid-19 protocols will be followed.

● Glenn O Hawbaker, Inc: guiderail installation on SR 3003 (First Fork Road) with flaggers in place. Covid-19 protocols will be followed.
