Nancy L. Webster, 85, Warren, PA

Nancy L. Webster

Nancy L. Webster, 85 years young, left her earthly life to go home to be with her Lord on September 9th, 2020.

She was born on August 7, 1935 in Jamestown, NY to the late Edward and Evelyn Selin Engquist.

Nancy married the love of her life, Eugene L. Webster on June 25, 1955, who preceded her in death in January 2019 and who awaited her return to him in heaven. Together, creating a home filled with love, laughter, and hospitality, they raised their five children, Kim (Gene) Olofson of Jamestown, NY; Kathy-who passed in 2017 (Steve) Van Dyk of Middle Grove, NY; Kevin (Bonnie) Webster of Tiona, PA; Kris Webster of Virginia Beach, VA; and Daniel (Brenda) Webster of Warren, PA. Her family, including her much loved 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love, laughter and generosity.

Family also dear to her are her sister, Shirley Towers of Randolph, NY; and her brothers, Stan (Maureen) Engquist of Kennedy, NY; Leonard (Carole) Engquist of Fort Wayne, IN; and many nieces and nephews.

Making her home in Warren, PA for the past 57 years, Nancy was employed by New Process Co. in the early 70’s and later retired from United Refining after many years of dedicated service. She was involved in and encouraged her children’s interests and activities, and she cultivated many precious friendships throughout her life.

Her loving family have both joy and sadness in her moving on, but also look forward to celebrating with her again in the golden streets of heaven. Her joys and treasure in life were her family, her countless friends and her church family where she was an integral part of the Pursuaders Group and the Youth Group. She enjoyed helping in the church sub booth at the Warren County Fair for many years, singing in the choir and was a valued member of the Memorial Committee. Nancy was a very talented artist and contributor to the church Epistle Newsletter. As an Auxiliary member, she enjoyed volunteering in the Window Box Café and Gift Shop in the Warren General Hospital. Sharing her time and talents in many ways, her desire was to bless others.

Having spent a lifetime loving and serving, we know this Good and Faithful Servant has been joyfully welcomed home!

Friends and Family will be welcomed at the Covenant United Methodist Church, 1624 Pennsylvania Ave. E. Warren, PA 16365, on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 11am to noon, with a memorial service at noon.
