January 11, 2021News Release:
Allegany County, New York COVID-19 Vaccination Program
Allegany County Department of Health’s (ACDOH) COVID-19 vaccination clinics for today and Wednesday are full.
ACDOH will release new links for additional vaccination clinics when we receive additional vaccine from the New York COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
Please wait for the links for additional vaccination clinics. Please register online when these links open. Due to the number of calls the AC DOH has been receiving,we will not be able to return your call.
If you have difficulty registering on-line, please call our office at 585-268-9250.
At this time, if no registration links are up, we do not have vaccine.
Here’s an easy way to find out whether it’s your turn: Follow this website link to see if you are eligible for a vaccine. Please go to https://am-i-eligible-qa.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/ to find out. The web page will ask for information such as your name, where you live, and what you do for a living.
If you are in a priority group currently eligible for vaccination, you cannot register from this website. You should ask your employer about getting a vaccination. If it’s not yet your turn, you can check back anytime to find out when the time is right. If you have any other questions about this process or general questions about the vaccine, please go to https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/frequently-asked-questions or to https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/what-you-need-know to learn more. No vaccine is 100% effective. While you wait to get the vaccine and even in the weeks after receiving both required doses, you must make sure to continue to:
•Wear a mask
•Socially distance from others (at least 6 feet apart)
•Practice good hand hygiene
