Allegany Co. Democratic Committee seeks Candidates for Local Office:
Training and Information Sessions Taking Place Now
Belmont, NY --- The Allegany County Democratic Committee has scheduled multiple information and training sessions for persons interested in running for local office. The next session is Monday, March 8th.
In 2021 voters will be asked to elect numerous town supervisors, town clerks, highway superintendents, assessors, justices, and councilpersons, as well as certain village mayors and trustees. In addition, all fifteen county legislature seats will be decided as will the county judge and county treasurer. More than 150 seats are currently up for election in Allegany County.
The Allegany County Democratic Committee offers information and training to potential candidates, as well as resources to support their campaigns. Interested candidates may contact the committee for more details about the March 8th information and training session.
