Is there a test to see if someone has covid antibodies? Does anyone know? I think I already had covid in November, fine now like to know if I have immunity.

4:04:00 PM Partial immunity lasts about 6 months.

Covid immunity lasts anywhere from 90 days to 6 months. I know several local people who have now had covid twice.

McKean County recorded 26 cases yesterday and is slightly smaller than Allegany County.

4:20 what is partial immunity ,how do you get partial, that don't make sense.A covid test only tells if you got it,thats not as important as weather you have antibodies.News says some are getting covid after the vaccine.Wouldnt a antibody test make more sense? The vaccine is emergency use, it takes years to see if they are safe.If you have antibodies you should not need a shot right? So much for Bidens science, hes a flop.

Yes, there is an antibody test. You can look it up online, just google search Covid Antibody Test. BTW, the mRNA science behind the vaccines has been in development for years. That is why the vaccines could be developed so quickly and no one knows yet how long the vaccines or antibodies last.

@404 - There is an anti-body test you can get which may tell you if you had COVID. People who got COVID twice probably caught a variant the 2nd time around.

Variants are a big reason why people need to vaccinate. The more people that get sick, the more likely it is going to mutate. So far we've been lucky by only getting more contagious variants without it being too much more deadly.

By not vaccinating, we not only increasing our own risk of death, but YOU could be the one in which the virus mutates into something far worse for the rest of the population, even if you yourself never got very ill.

One has a far greater risk of dying or ruining their health long term by catching COVID than any risk from an MRNA vaccine. MRNA simply provokes an immune response, teaches your immune system what to look out for and puts it into it's own database so-to-speak. The MRNA itself breaks down fairly quickly - within days after vaccination.

The 2nd shot causes your immune system to use the body's stored info to call out the troops for that specific threat, provoking an immune response and creating a robust store of antibodies that will be at the ready when, and if the actual COVID-19 virus gets into your system. This is why some people may feel mild side effects after the 2nd shot. Usually tiredness or a slight headache which is nothing that an advil can't take care of.

The vaccines are 100% effective against hospitalization & death due to COVID-19.

If you previously had COVID, you might be more likely to feel mild side effects after the first shot and nothing after the 2nd. Most people never feel any side effects at all other than maybe a sore arm for a few days. That's OK, because your immune response doesn't require you to feel crappy. It's still working.

Unfortunately, the BS brigade in the media is spreading so much misinformation about COVID and vaccines. People buy into this crap because they're scared and don't understand the science. They are willing to trust their very lives to some overpaid self-serving opinion host rather than the highly trained scientists, virologists, and doctors who really know what they're talking about. It's a real pity.

McKean County will never see herd immunity

5:28 ... the amount of time that we have strong, reactive antibodies against infection varies from disease to disease. And how strongly your antibodies react to re-infection will vary from person to person. Antibodies don't usually last a life time. Re-infection is absolutely possible with covid! And as diseases mutate, our current antibodies may no longer protect us (hence why you get a flu shot each year ... for what they hope will protect you against that year's worst strains).

I had the virus. I recovered. There is no way in hell that they are putting an experimental vaccine in my body. I don't care who is paying for it. My immune system worked for me once it will work again.

Our commander in chief doesn’t presume to be a scientist. He is leaving that to the world experts.Thank God!

5:28 you must be a trumper and think you know more then scientists. haha You have so many questions that maybe you should do some research.
