Our youth would be much better served through a class on nature, exercise, volunteerism, adopt a grandparent, etc.

10:21 get off you high horse. This is an introduction to understanding video games (designing and the history). Some of "our youth" might take this course and go on and have a very nice career developing video games. Like it or not this is the future.

10:21 Exactly 11:47 Come on really they have a better chance at riding a purple unicorn. Video games are our future now. Only in simple minds.

12:16..Sure...let's make our kids spend all of their time outside in nature and learn how worms procreate. To heck with learning technology....that will never get them anywhere...just ask Bill Gates or Elon Musk....

If their interest in gaming leads them to technical studies, then that is a win. Tech jobs ARE the future and are more than just gaming. They represent some of the more successful careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM). Good for them.

10:21 and 12:16 I think maybe 11:47 is one of the "our youth" that lives in the world of video games..God help us all..

12:41 you are so funny..the hell with nature..bring on the games because learning how to play games is what is destroying our youth..I'm all in favor of technology but video games is play time.. God help them if they become stranded and have to survive off the land.. they don't have a clue..can't google it..

I agree, we should be teaching these kids useful life skills, like coal mining, or steam engines, or carriage building! We must continue to shun the ways of English, for it is only the wages of sin.
That's why this backwards ass county's population is hemorrhaging; the kids can't get out of here fast enough.

Sure let's teach them to sit on the couch all day eating junk food instead of doing an honest days work

1:40 There is a big difference between playing video games and developing those games. Why are tech jobs not 'an honest day's work'?

Feel free to scroll through Solomon's Words and find all the pictures of Mr. Bryant's students at the CTC earning their certificates and scholarships. Then come back and comment on how useless these type of courses are.

This is summer camp classes! Let the kids do what they enjoy during their limited time off!

The chances of a white person getting a high level tech job in the future, is very low. These positions at Google et al, are filled with foreign temp's to whom much lower wages are paid. That is a fact! We need electricians, plumbers, nurses, etc. Not another unemployed tech grad living with his parents.

3:49, what we don't need is another racist hillbilly simpleton, like yourself, this county already has enough of them.

3:49:00 PM I don`t know any tech grads living with their parents.

1245, 1254 imaginary sky people who do not exist cannot help you. Tech is the future, and can possibly lead to other avenues of learning. Cease your one dimensional thinking.

The tech jobs are not just with Google, etc. Tech jobs are with medical supply, security firms, banks, insurance companies, manufacturing, electronics, space exploration, reusable energy development, ....I know, I had a very good tech job and enjoyed it very much. Please don't discourage others from exploring what they enjoy.

Do something for my kids! Something they are interested in they said. ‘No, not like that!’ Wow you guys. Don’t like it? Here is a wild idea...don’t go. Here is another crazy concept: Scroll on by without leaving hate in your wake. I’ll say this: Thank you for taking something our children are interested in, Mr. Bryant, and giving them this opportunity to learn more about it.

Oh I'm sure mr. Bryant is a wonderful person who will likely be working his way out of the ctc and into one of your area schools in the near future at yet another astronomical salary because everyone out there is dumb enough to think that all kids are going to be teckies.
