Regular Meeting of Liberty Township Supervisors on June 10, 2021

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The regular meeting of the Liberty Township Supervisors was called to order at 8:30      AM by Chairman, Dick Brown. Also present were Supervisor Neil Shepard, Supervisor Fred Ernst and secretary, Cindy Speeth. Also present was Bill Owens from National Fuel. 

REPORTS:
1. Ambulance Report for May, 2021 had 16 calls.
2. Fire Report for May, 2021 -  There were  2 calls for Liberty Township.
3. Secretary’s Regular Meeting Report for May 20, 2021 was presented and unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Ernst and a second by Supervisor Shepard.
4. Treasurer’s Report for the month of June, 2021 was presented and
unanimously accepted on a motion by Supervisor Ernst and a second by
Supervisor Shepard.  Chairman Brown stated that in the General Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $34,207.91, revenues received in the amount of $20,473.92 and a balance of $144,171.63. In the State Fund there were bills paid in the amount of $8984.80 and a balance of $187,222.74. In the Sewer Fund there was a balance of $2,780.18.
Chairman Brown stated that the township will have approximately $20,000.00 coming from the McKean County Commissioner and approximately $11,000.00 coming from our insurance company for invoices we have already paid. 

CORRESPONDENCE:
1. PSATS News Bulletin was presented by Chairman Brown.
All correspondence was made available to the public.

As no further business was brought before the Board, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 8:45 a.m. on a motion by Supervisor  Ernst and a second by Supervisor Shepard.

Anyone else find it interesting that Liberty Township hold their meetings at 8:30am on a weekday? Most of the Township residents would need to take a day off of work to attend. Just an observation!!
