ARCADE - Lisa A. Purdy Dziedzic, of Arcade, NY passed away Tuesday (July 20, 2021) at her residence, at the age of 62.

She was born Sept. 16, 1958, in Coudersport, Pa., a daughter of the late Paul Eugene and Karen Woolley Purdy.

She owned and operated the Marvin Run Campground in Austin, Pa., with her husband. She enjoyed working at the campground in all aspects, including mowing the lawn, watching the wildlife and spending time with the campers.

She also worked for Central Duplicating and was a teacher's aide for the special education department at Pioneer High School.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church in East Arcade and enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Dziedzic, who she married Nov. 4, 1978, in East Arcade; her children, Jill (Todd Bluman) Dziedzic of Arcade and Jared (Lydia) Dziedzic of East Arcade; her siblings, Lorraine (David) Osgood of Rushford and Jeff (Michelle) Purdy of Alden; grandchildren, Samantha (Kyle Degenfelder) Sparceno of Gowanda, Kristine (Emery Marsh) Sparceno of Delevan, Alexander Sparceno of Arcade, Kaylyn Dziedzic of Arcade, Jacob Dziedzic of Arcade, Barrett Dziedzic of Arcade and Griffin Dziedzic of Arcade; her great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Blaire; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Purdy.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (July 22, 2021) at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St. Arcade. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (July 23, 2021) at St. Mary's Church, 6785 East Arcade Road, East Arcade, with Rev. Joseph Gullo officiating. Final interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in East Arcade.
