She was born August 26, 1958, in St. Marys, daughter of the late William and Monica Meyer Felton.  Christine was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1976.

On February 11, 1978, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Christine married James “Rusty” Nesbitt, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Christine is survived by two sons, Cory Nesbitt (Jacqueline) of Kersey and Joshua Nesbitt (Brihanna) of St. Marys; five grandchildren: Kenadi, Roman, Carson, Levi, and Tripp; two sisters: Cindy Breindel (Jerry) of Montana and Carrie Trumbull of St. Marys; one brother: Barney Felton of South Carolina; by a Godchild: Mike McAndrew of Florida; and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Christine was preceded in death by a brother, William Felton.

She was a member of Queen of the World Church and was involved with many organizations.  She was committed to her community, living her life to the fullest, and had a tremendous impact on everyone she encountered.  She enjoyed being outside especially when she was elk shed hunting.  She would travel all over the country but her most favorite spot was Kinzua, where she would camp with her family.  She loved her family dearly, there wasn’t anything more important to her.

There will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Queen of the World Church on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Jeffery Noble, Pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
