Elk County- The St. Marys Area United Way would like to thank the community for their generosity and support of the 2021 Campaign. The United Way board is pleased to report that the community has exceeded the $160,000 campaign goal for 2021. The St. Marys Area United Way relies on contributions from companies and local individuals. Those donations support the financial needs of non-profit agencies that serve the health and human welfare needs of our community.

Funding raised in the 2021 campaign will support nonprofit organizations in 2022. The grant deadline to apply for the 2021 Campaign funding was December 15, 2021.

Currently, the organizations seeking funding for 2022 are Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services, Boys & Girls Club of St. Marys, Boy Scouts Bucktail Council, CAPSEA, Catholic Charities, Dickinson Center, Girl Scouts, Guardian Angel Center, St. Marys Public Library, St. Marys Recreation Board, LIFT, St. Marys Area School District, St Marys Interparish Rooted Youth Ministry, Fox Township Sportsmen Summer Youth Trap League, FTSC Highschool Trap, and the Veteran Memorial.

The St. Marys United Way board are conducting agency reviews in January and will determine the grant awards at their February 3, 2022 board meeting.

The 2021 United Way campaign ran until December 31, 2021. Any donations received after that date will be applied to the 2022 campaign. If you would like to become one of these individual or corporate donors, please call 781-6000 or mail your check to the St. Marys Area United Way, 44 So. St. Marys Street, St. Marys, PA 15857
