This weekend Sizerville State Park is offering a variety of programs for all ages.

On Friday, June 24th from 3-4pm the Park Naturalist is hosting a program featuring live amphibians! Participants can get a first-hand look at these elusive creatures and understand why they’re important to our environment. The program will be held at Sizerville’s campground amphitheater.

Friday evening from 8-9pm Sizerville State Park is hosting an educational short film on ponds and rivers! Learn about the many species that call those waters home as well as some species you may have in your own backyard! The film will take place at Sizerville’s campground amphitheater.

Sunday morning from 9:30-10:30am join the Park Naturalist at Sizerville State Park for a Guided Bird Walk through the park. Learn the natural history of the area as we identify backyard bird species along the way. The walk will start at Pavilion #3 and span for roughly a mile. Participants should wear sturdy shoes or boots.
