Mazie L. Reynolds

Mazie L. Reynolds, 92, of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in her home surrounded by family.  

She was born January 29, 1930 in Sabinsville, to Clifford and Ferne (Erway) McConnell.  She graduated from Wellsboro High School, and on August 18, 1950 she married Frederick Reynolds.  Together they shared 46 years of marriage and raised 3 children.  Mazie worked at the former Galeton Production Company, was a 60+ year member of the Coolidge Hollow United Methodist Church, and loved gardening, crocheting, knitting, but she especially loved her grandchildren.

Mazie is survived by her son:  Clifford (Debbie) Reynolds of Wellsboro; two daughters:  Donna (John) Sciortino of Wellsboro, and Nancy (Patrick) Hewitt of Wellsboro; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters:  Beverly DeFrain and Naomi Welshans, a brother:  Kenneth McConnell, and a grandson:  Jason Carson.

In accordance with her wishes, Mazie’s family has entrusted her arrangements to the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home 139 Main Street Wellsboro, PA 16901, and she will have a private graveside service.  

Memorials in her memory may be made to the Coolidge Hollow United Methodist Church 5926 Route 287 Wellsboro, PA 16901.
