PennDOT McKean County Maintenance work schedule for the week of August 8 – August 12, 2022



Cyclone, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation McKean County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of August 8 – August 12, weather permitting. Motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas. Motorists should be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

Sign Repairs and Upgrades:
•    Various State Routes throughout the County

Bridge Repair:     
•    State Route: Various Repairs throughout county

Patching:
•    State Route: 0046 (Bradford Area to Rew Area)
•    State Route: 0646 (Ormsby Area to Gilmore Area)
•    State Route: 1002 (Champlin Hill Road)
•    State Route: 0246 (Looker Mountain Trail)

Pipe Replacement:
•    State Route: 1009 (Bells Run Road)

Side Dozing:
•    State Route: 0546 (Oil Valley Road)
•    State Route: 0246 (Olean Road)

Ditching:
•    State Route: 1009 (Bells Run Road)
•    State Route: 0246 (Looker Mountain Trail)


The following work is scheduled to be completed by contractor, weather permitting:

•    Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc: Resurfacing State Route 0321, North bound traffic will alternate with lane closure during construction and south bound traffic will be detoured to SR 0006 to SR 0219 in Lantz Corners to Wilcox and back to SR 0321.  Detour will be in place until completion of the project.


•    Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc: Resurfacing State Route 0046, Project will consist of replacing a box culvert, drainage improvements, guide rail installation, pavement marking and other miscellaneous construction, a two-lane temporary roadway will be built as a run around when the box culvert is being replaced.
